Hey y'all its that time again.
As you may have noticed last month I did not do a blog update because I was busy trying to get my job schedule lined out and thankfully it looks like I finally accomplished what I had set out to do. Miami is popping right now with an influx of tourist seemingly from all over Europe. Usually most of the tourist come at the beginning of the new year and start going back about now, but alas for us South Floridians it looks like they are sticking around for awhile.

Pokemon: The Omega Experience is nearing its 800 member mark and its one year anniversary. All acets of its media outlets are doing well. We have moved onto reddit. Yes its true - oh its true.

Last time I updated my blog I told everyone that I was going to start doing a breakdown of all the old school Pokemon games up and including the originals and yes if I have to acquire the systems like the gamecube to do Gale of Darkness I will. Last months coverage included Pokemon Heartgold/Soulsilver.
Can't say enough good things about this game. Im pretty sure after surveying several different sources that it was pretty well received by anyone who has ever had the graciousness to have gotten the chance to have played either version of this game. For me the best part of this experience is going back and reliving these dawning moments in the series. Traversing the lands of Kanto and Johto brings back fond memories for me and solidifies my place amongst its awesome journey.
As I left off last time I had just captured Ho-Oh the legendary bird Pokemon and protector of skies. (If you are wondering Ho-Oh is the Heartgold legendary and Lugia is the Soulsilver Legendary). Once you do this the land of Kanto is opened to you after a lil adventuring that is. Once you get to Kanto its a scramble to traverse it from one side to the other as you met familiar trainers and Gym Leaders with some all new surprises. Like the well known Brock leader of the Pewter City Gym who now is armed with an Omastar and Kubatops!
Nothing is as gratifying as going up against Trainer Red the mysterious enigmatic figure who has been highly debated since Pokemon's inception. You will find Trainer Red at the top of Mt Silver which is only accessible after you have defeated all 16 Gym leaders from both Johto and Kanto and talking to Professor Oak.
Trainer Red is the highest level trainer of any Pokemon Games. His team is quite Legendary in itself. Consisting of Pikachu (level 88), Venasaur (Level 84), Charizard (Level 84), Lapras (Level 80), Snorlax (Level 82) and a Blastoise (Level 84) so to say the least you better come pretty well prepared with plenty of stuff to help out with healing and attack. Almost all of the Pokemon will be affected by the Hail weather affect (hello your on top of a mountain) except his Lapras which is immune.
Once and if you defeat him the credits will role and certain things will now be unlocked. Have fun.
