Pokemon X and Y: Journey to be the Very Best

               So today I decided to have an interview with founder of Pokemon X & Y: Journey to be the Very Best and do a little question and answer session to get some perspectives on him and what he does in the group.  That way everyone can get to know him better.

              Genesis created the group more then a month ago. What started off with just a handful of people has now grown to about 200 members, with people from all over the world and all ages. He also serves as the standing Champion for the League part of the group.

So here go

Me: So why did you start the Facebook Group?

Genesis: I'm a member in a lot of other groups and I saw they had created their own Pokemon leagues, so I decided to do one for myself and then I noticed that some of them looked pretty bad. So in my head I was like I could beat them like it was nothing so I wanted to make mine better and way more difficult to beat.

Me: How long have you been playing pokemon?

Genesis: Since the days of Red and Blue.  The one I played before X & Y was Pokemon Diamond.

Me: Which of the games is your favorite?

Genesis: Pokemon X & Y.  I like it because of the graphics.

Me:  Out of the 718 up to date Pokemon, who is your favorite and why?

Genesis: Arcanine is my fave and the reason is I love fire Pokemon plus he's a dog along with the fact that they are fast and strong and plus I loved that Pokemon since I was a kid.

Me: Are you a fan of the anime and comics?

Genesis: Both

Me: So any trainer tips for people that are just picking up the game?

Genesis: Yeah don't play the meta game.  Just because it's what everyone plays.  That's dumb! Play something that fits into your style and make it work for you, because if you don't then you are going to end up losing a lot of games because it is a game of strategy.

Me: What do you like most about being in the group?

Genesis: Getting to know and making friends with all new people.

Me: Does being leader put a lot of pressure on your shoulders?

Genesis: Not really.  I'm pretty level headed when it comes to things like that.  Everything really just falls into place.

Me: Have you ever been to a Pokemon event?

Genesis: Nope.  I don't feel the need to go to one.

Me: What do you think of when people say "oh Pokemon is just a kids game"

Genesis: People are entitled to their own opinion. 

Me: Ok, so if a person saw this and was like well im kinda interested in joining the group what would you say to them to get them to join.

Genesis: Come on over and join the fun.
