Summer's coming to a stop - but it's Full Steam Ahead as usual for Omegas.... 8-11-15

Well readers it's been a hot one this year and I hope everyone is staying cool and safe out there.  I decided to take a month off to stabilize my work schedule and my sleep schedule.  Yours truly has played it smart and stayed away from both the water and the beach this year.  Rumors of bacteria and shark filled Florida water has given me enough skin crawling to preoccupy myself with indoor activities.  My boo and I went on an adventure yesterday to the Aventura Mall located in Aventura Florida where we picked up some various items including clothes and some very cute items at Hot Topic.  My picks were a new Wonder Woman clutch wallet, a Doctor Who lunch box shaped like the Tardis, and an Evee themed Lanyard.  We also took in three movies; Jurassic World, Marvels The Ant-Man and the psychological thriller The Gift all definitely worth watching.

Evee Lanyard - Now I can keep track of my Bus Card which I lose on a daily

Tardis Lunchbox - Bigger on the Inside

Wonder Woman Wallet - Rockin 1940s Realness

....................................What's currently happening in Omegas.................................................

We currently have several projects that we are running....

- Sean Quigley - is running his team building exercises.  Sean is good at what he does.  He can build a team for OU or UU battles, singles, doubles, or triples, or really any other configuration you could ask for

- Gabrielle Alexis Matos is still running his OCC builds and if you don't know what OCC stands for - it is OMEGA's Competitive Corner.  Each week he chooses a random Pokemon and builds several movesets for each one. The purpose is to give the trainer several different views of the same Pokemon.

- Luis Cruz Gonzalez - in the memory of Pokemon Kingdoms has designed another Clan wars battle.  People have grouped off and battle every week every other week for points and eventually prizes.  He's also created a brand new group based off Naruto franchise which is just beginning.

- Nyan Leigh sister of Genesis Leigh has started the skeletal work of the long awaited Omegas website, which has many of us at Omegas very excited.

- Emmanuel Lechuga - maniac poster and longtime fan became a full fledged Gym Leader last week, so if you see him posting in group please feel free to say hello and congratulate him.  I cannot wait to see what he has to offer.

- My next blog will be featuring an interview with Pamela Gahagan who went to VGC and represented Pokemon The Omega Experience.

                                                      -------- Gaming Corner --------

If you have been reading my blog.  For the last few episodes I have been reviewing Retro Pokemon Games basically chosen at random and whatever I have had an opportunity to buy and the current one I just started is Pokemon Dream Radar. I was able to acquire this game through the Nintendo E Shop for 4.99 which is a great deal.

2012 White/Black version buddy game Pokemon Dream Radar

Origins: The game premiered in Japan first in June 23rd 2012 and was known as Pokemon AR Sāchā, literally meaning; "Pokémon Augmented Reality Searcher" Searcher" It soon followed in America as Pokemon Dream Radar that following October 7th, 2012 and is a buddy game to the Pokemon White/Black series, this game, however works only with the White/Black Versions 2 as it allows you to capture Pokemon in the Dream World and transfer them to those games.

Mechanics:  The Player enters the Interdream Zone to capture Dream Orbs for Professor Burnet's research by destroying the Dream Clouds by using the Beam that has already been equipped. It is known that there are two kinds of clouds in the video game, there is a pink and a grey glowing cloud.
Pink clouds increase but also decrease in size, when a Pink Dream Cloud has been hit by the beam it will break into three Dream Orbs, but they can also break into four or five Dream Orbs if hit when they are largest. The glowing clouds has a more glowing appearance that can be compared as a stormy cloud. When a Glowing Dream Cloud has been hit by the beam it will break into four Dream Orbs, or sometimes in the glowing clouds a Pokémon is hidden. You will begin with about 5 Dream Clouds, which can be grow after getting some extensions in order to collect more Dream Orbs. Dream Orbs will fade after a failing attempt to capture them with the beam. After that the player hits all of the Dream Clouds it will get out from the Interdream Zone which it have to wait to restore the Dream Clouds in order to collect more and more Dream Clouds. A Dream Cloud can break into five or four more Dream Orbs, once obtaining them all one of them might split into three more, then again one of them will do the same as until you are late to capture one of them. The duration is extremely short afterwards which it will disappear extremely quick or is not evenly easy to hit. You can upgrade your equipment after collecting a large amount of Dream Orbs. Actually, Dream Orbs also serves as money to obtain certain equipments, support items and upgrades. The game has also an auto-save feature to save the player's in the game. The character can level after upgrading your equipment after collecting a large amount of Dream Orbs. Actually, Dream Orbs also serves as money to obtain certain equipments, support items and upgrades. The game has also an auto-save feature to save the player's in the game.

Several unique ideas are present throughout the game such Extensions by collecting Dream Orbs which can be used to upgrade your ability to capture Pokemon as well as Support Items which make capturing Pokemon easier.
